Would you consider not unscreening comments here that talk about who the troll is trashing, especially if you're not going to respond to the comments? Like "troll going after so-and-so again." You screen it over there, but then you keep a public record here in the modcalls.

Maybe I'm being too sensitive. Just a thought. Thanks for considering, and for all your continued hard work.

We do respond to the vast majority of comments and I was planning on responding to at least the first one; it's been a busy morning for me. I will discuss not unscreening comments with the Other Mod, but I do think it's good for the mods to be as transparent as possible and for nonnies to know that their comments were seen and addressed, since there's no way to privately respond to an anon comment. I also don't think the record left here is extraordinarily harmful, because the linked comments are no longer visible and I don't see how they can be used by the troll. I don't think they can do much with content-less screening requests.

Additionally, sometimes people ask us not to unscreen comments, and we don't.
