I've noticed that several top-level comments have gotten deleted, like the first fandom goggles thread this post and the first free agency thread comment. What's up with that?

There's been a troll or trolls sandwiching troll-comments into high-level comments, though I just checked and in top-comment view nothing's screened or frozen. There aren't multiple fandom goggles or free agency threads, which I would still see, even if they were screened. So I'm not quite sure what you're referring to.

ETA - And we never delete posts. We freeze or screen them.

Now that I look at it, I see at least one of those threads was posted to the old post. So maybe that's it?

I only said you deleted it because that's what DW tells me - when I open that link from my email notification, it says the comment was deleted.

I actually just got an answer! The other mod made those posts and deleted them because there were errors in the top-level comment (an accidental c&p and a date error). We would never delete someone else's posts but in this case they were made by the mod. I don't anticipate this being a recurring issue.
