That's fair wrt anti-Pens vents, I meant more that what's really repetitive and really wanky is the part where the thread devolves into "why don't you just unfollow if it annoys you so much" and "clearly you don't know what a venting thread is for!!" and "you are accusing them of being annoying and here you are being annoying!!" type comments that are just people flinging the same content-less mud at each other. The recent thread was fine and pretty quiet until that started up.

You're not wrong about those comments, and without double-checking, at least some of them do appear to be coming from the same people. It's just tough to say the vent can stand, but then freeze negative responses to the vent, etc.

The thread you linked seems like it's okay for now, but should another crop up, I'll consider warning/screening/freezing people who have already made their opinion about unfollowing/thread definitions clear in other threads or who appear to be repeating arguments that were frozen in previous threads.
