I agree with you that this was a perfectly innocent mistake, brought about by someone not knowing about the slang term. I think the context makes it clear that they were speaking about an a/b/o story. Nevertheless, it's an easy enough thing to screen in the future. I commented asking meme to avoid spelling a/b/o without the slashes and to contact the mods if they see this spelling in the future.
